Anche quest’anno sarò ad Ars Electronica, ma a differenza delle scorse edizioni seguiremo la manifestazione pubblicando articoli, commenti e recensioni sul n-blog, il sito web dedicato ai reportages nonché progetto di Noema. Ogni volta che vado ad Ars Electronica mi torna in mente la prima volta che ci sono andato, a Linz, nel 1989. Per me fu una sorta di avventura, e penso che riuscirò a ritagliarmi un po’ di tempo per raccontarla in un prossimo post.
Anche quest’anno non vedrò tutte le mostre e non seguirò tutti gli eventi, ammesso che qualcuno ci riesca dato che molti eventi sono contemporanei. A parziale complemento di questa mancanza, nel n-blog ci sono gli interventi dei due studenti che mi hanno seguito, mi pare con entusiasmo, in questa avventura, Andrea Asperges e Stefano Baldin. Poi ci sono i post del mio collega Renato Alberti e di Roberto Villa, che hanno fatto un grande lavoro di relazione e di informazione con gli artisti presenti ad Ars Electronica, il loro contributo sarà più sul versante di fivewordsforthefuture, di cui Renato è cofondatore, e di Noema, della cui redazione fa parte. Infine, ma non meno importanti, su Noema ci saranno gli articoli di Giorgio Cipolletta e Paolo Atzori, che recensiranno la manifestazione secondo le loro prospettive. Li ringrazio tutti per l’impegno, la passione, le competenze e la voglia di mettersi in gioco.
Also this year I will be at Ars Electronica, but unlike the previous editions I will follow the events by publishing articles, comments and reviews on the n-blog, the website dedicated to reportages and a Noema project. Every time I go to Ars Electronica I cannot help but recall the first time I went there, in Linz, in 1989. For me it was some kind of an adventure, and I think I will succeed in getting a little time to write it down in a future post.
As usual I will not see all Ars Electronica exhibitions and I will not follow all the events, provided that somebody can since many events are planned at the same time. To a partial complement of my lack, in n-blog there are the interventions of two students who have followed me, I think with enthusiasm, in this adventure, Andrea and Stefano Baldin Asperges. Then there are the posts from my colleague Renato Alberti and Roberto Villa, who did a great job of connection and information with the artists present at Ars Electronica, although their contribution will be more on the side of fivewordsforthefuture, of which Renato is co-founder, and Noema, of which he is a board member. Last but not least, on Noema there will be the articles by Giorgio Cipolletta and Paolo Atzori, who will review the events according to their perspectives. I thank them all for their commitment, for the passion, the skills and the will to get involved.
